Creative Learning

Our Creative Learning team engages with people of all ages, but especially young people.

We work with creative practitioners across all artforms.  We plan, deliver and evaluate projects in a variety of contexts, from formal learning to more informal work in public spaces.  Our programmes are developed through collaborative partnership working.  We have worked closely with Curious Minds, Arts Council England's Bridge Organisation for the North West.

Our past work includes:

  • Development and delivery of projects funded by for example, Heritage Lottery, Youth Music, Princes Trust and the Clore Foundation.
  • Artsmark assessment and moderation across the North West
  • Arts Award advisory work with young people
  • Kicking Leaves - our young people's literature festival in Pennine Lancashire
  • Projects with schools clusters in Padiham, Blackburn and Todmorden, each spanning a term and culminating in celebratory events
  • Bespoke and long term curriculum development in primary and infant schools in Accrington and Nelson
  • Community projects at heritage sites
  • Project management of Creative Partnerships work in schools across Lancashire and in Runcorn
  • Creative consultation work with school children and teachers in advance of capital build work
