VIBE art club

VIBE Art Club

VIBE was a popular Saturday arts club for young people established at the Mid Pennine Arts Gallery.  Since the Gallery's closure the club has accompanied the Contemporary Heritage visual arts programme to heritage sites across Pennine Lancashire when the opportunity allows.

The VIBE club has explored new ideas with a range of exciting activities led by Burnley artist Philip Bradley. Making monoprints or a crazy art-robot pen!

Burnley born Philip has exhibited his work at Mid Pennine Arts and Access Space in Sheffield. He is particularly interested in mass participatory art and thinks that the VIBE club is a great opportunity for young people to come together to develop their interest in the arts and to hone down their talent!

 IMPACT

-       Families are introduced to new cultural venues such as Towneley Hall in Burnley

-       Children explore professional art techniques and processes in a relaxed setting

-       Children develop their artistic vocabulary and build a language with which to critique the artworks they encounter
